Children's Book Editor: Final Polish & Illustration Review

The Adventures of Sorry Thompson & Bean is looking for a freelance editor to help with the final polish and post illustration review of our second book in the series! About the Project We’re getting close to the finish line on Book 2 of The Adventures of Sorry Thompson & Bean, and we’re looking for an experienced children’s book editor to help us make sure everything feels polished, cohesive, and ready for production. The manuscript is complete and our illustrator is currently working on the artwork. We’re looking for someone who can help us with: ~A final polish of the manuscript, including grammar, consistency, flow, and readability for our target age group ~A full review once the illustrations are complete and integrated with the text ~Flagging any text and illustration conflicts, pacing issues, or areas where the story could flow better with the final visuals One final QA pass before the book goes into production The Project This is the completed manuscript for the second book in The Adventures of Sorry Thompson & Bean series. Our illustrator is currently in progress, so we’re looking for an editor who can review the manuscript now and then do a second pass once the artwork and text are fully integrated. We’re looking for someone who has experience editing children’s picture books and can help us keep the story feeling natural, fun, and true to the voice of Sorry and Bean while making sure everything is polished and ready to go.
