We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Content Moderator to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity of our digital platforms by systematically reviewing and assessing user-generated content against established safety policies and community guidelines. This position is critical for maintaining a secure and positive online environment, requiring a keen eye for nuance and the ability to make swift, accurate decisions under pressure. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, ensuring that all content adheres to regulatory standards while effectively managing escalated issues that require specialized attention.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough screening of online content to identify and remove material that violates established policies and safety guidelines.
  • Execute precise decision-making processes regarding the acceptability of various content types, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all moderation actions.
  • Manage and resolve complex case escalations by applying advanced judgment and adhering strictly to protocol when standard procedures are insufficient.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory guidelines during the review and moderation workflow.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment that operates on rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage and operational continuity.
  • Utilize basic computer skills and moderation tools to efficiently process high volumes of content while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English to document findings, report issues, and coordinate with other team members.
