Job Summary
The Quality Inspection Engineer is responsible for carrying out end-to-end product inspections, implementing industry quality standards, identifying technical defects, and ensuring that all electronic devices meet defined inspection parameters. The role requires strong analytical skills, decision-making ability for lot approval/rejection, and experience in handling domestic and import vendors for quality improvement. The candidate will also assist in setting up testing standards and maintaining documentation to strengthen Geonix’s quality ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Standards & Compliance
  • Ensure complete understanding of all industry-defined quality control standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality-controlled parameters across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with PQC, IQC, OQC, SOP, BOM, production process, and ESD standards.
  • Identify process loopholes and recommend corrective & preventive actions.
2. Product Inspection & Testing
  • Conduct detailed inspection of electronic products and components.
  • Evaluate testing results and take accurate PASS/FAIL decisions for product lots.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and defects in electronic devices.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining testing standards within the organization.
3. Vendor & Supplier Quality Management
  • Coordinate with domestic and import vendors to resolve product quality concerns.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, factory audits, and on-site inspections when required.
4. Quality Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain detailed quality inspection reports, defect logs, and QA documentation.
  • Support internal audits and quality compliance requirements.
  • Prepare regular updates on inspection results, vendor issues, and corrective actions.
5. Factory Visits & Audits
  • Participate in factory visits to assess vendor capability, process adherence, and quality performance.
  • Assist in process validation and ensure compliance with Geonix quality expectations.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing, IT Hardware, LED TV, or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection parameters, electronic testing standards, and quality tools.
  • Good understanding of PQC, IQC, OQC, SOP, BOM, production flows, and ESD norms.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong decision-making skills for evaluating lot acceptance / rejection.
  • Experience in vendor coordination, supplier audits, and quality issue resolution.
  • Good communication skills in English & Hindi.
