About the internship:

You'll build the comparable company sets and transaction databases used across our research and teaching materials. Of everything on this list, this is the closest to an actual IB analyst workflow.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Building comparable company tables, which means screening the peer set, calculating multiples, and documenting every adjustment
2. Maintaining a precedent transactions database for Indian M&A
3. Reading deal announcements and pulling out structure, consideration, and rationale
4. Building and formatting slides that summarise sector deal activity
5. Sourcing every single figure back to a filing or an announcement
