Labour Welfare Superintendent

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the civic body governing the capital, has announced recruitment for the post of Labour Welfare Superintendent in its Labour Welfare Department. A total of 9 posts are on offer, filled on a contract basis until regular appointments are made through the DSSSB. The role involves enforcing labour laws, overseeing welfare schemes, conducting inspections and mediating disputes across municipal workplaces in Delhi.

Qualification: Labour Welfare Superintendent: Graduation Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or in any other allied subject of a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. Desirable: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent; experience in the field in a responsible capacity of Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management and/or in allied fields.

Age limit: Maximum 30 years; relaxation in age limit to SC, ST and OBC (Delhi Only) candidates as per Govt. Rules. The crucial date for determination of age is the last day of acceptance of application in Labour Welfare Department, HQ.

Pay: Level-7, Rs. 44,900 plus Variable DA as per 7th CPC

Selection: Secondary Level, Senior Secondary Level, Graduation, Post Graduation, Interview

  2. Fill in the application form with correct personal, educational and caste details.
  3. Attach self-attested copies of photograph, signature, ID proof and certificates.
  4. Send the completed application to the DAK section of the Labour Welfare Department, MCD, 21st Floor, Dr. SPM Civic Centre, J.L. Nehru Marg, New Delhi 110002.
  5. Ensure the application reaches the department by 12 October 2026 through Speed Post or Registered Post.
