Medical Record Reviewer

Overview We are a start up Medical Review Company. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Record Reviewer, where your expertise will ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance of medical records across diverse healthcare settings. In this vital role, you will have to review basic medical information and document if Standards of Care were met during our Clients Hospital stays or not. Testimony and Legal Proceedings: Reviewer acknowledges that, as part of the services provided, Reviewer may be required to testify as an expert witness regarding the medical review, findings, opinions, and conclusions rendered. Such testimony may include deposition testimony, trial testimony, hearings, arbitrations, or other legal proceedings. Reviewer agrees to cooperate reasonably with requests for testimony relating to the review. Reviewer will be fully compensated for any required Legal Proceedings if required. Responsibilities • Thoroughly review and validate medical records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with health regulation policies. • Generate detailed reports on record review findings, highlighting areas for process improvement or compliance issues. Requirements • Current Licensure in The Medical Field that can be verified. • Proven experience in medical office administration or health information management with a strong understanding of medical records review processes. • Proficiency in reputed company Office applications for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and EMR/EHR management tools used in healthcare settings. • Knowledge of health regulation policies, including healthcare privacy laws such as HIPAA or equivalent standards. • reputed company understanding of medical terminology, clinical confidentiality policies, and medical coding practices. • Experience in records management within a healthcare environment, supporting accurate documentation and data integrity. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and external stakeholders.
