Script Writer – Social Media Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Script Writer Intern to join our Marketing team. If you enjoy storytelling, understand social media trends, and can transform ideas into engaging short-form content, this role is for you. You will be responsible for writing compelling scripts for reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, and brand campaigns that resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, LinkedIn content, and other social media platforms.
  • Research trending topics, formats, and storytelling styles to create high-performing content.
  • Develop creative concepts and content ideas aligned with the brand's voice and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Design, and Video Editing teams to bring scripts to life.
  • Write scripts for product launches, promotional campaigns, customer stories, and educational content.
  • Adapt scripts for different platforms and target audiences.
  • Review and refine scripts based on feedback and performance insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, viral formats, and content strategies.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Media Studies, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Hindi is an added advantage).
  • Strong storytelling and creative writing abilities.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and content consumption patterns.
  • Ability to conduct research and convert complex ideas into simple, engaging scripts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in script writing, content writing, copywriting, blogging, or creative writing.
  • Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Basic understanding of branding and content marketing.
  • Experience using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is a plus.
