  • Educational Qualification Candidates must possess, by the last date of application, either: - B.Sc Nursing (4-year course) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Medical Faculty recognised Institute or University, or B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) (2-year course) from an Indian Nursing Council recognised institute/university, and be registered as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council
  • OR - Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council recognised Institute/Board/Council, registered as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council, with two years' experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the above qualification. Domicile and Other Conditions - Only permanent residents (Domicile) of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply for reserved posts (both horizontal and vertical reservation)
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS/DFF/Women/Ex-servicemen candidates who are not original residents of UP will be considered Unreserved (UR). - Male candidates who are married and have more than one living wife, or female candidates who have married a man with an already-living wife, are not eligible unless exempted by the Governor.
