Telugu-Speaking Transcription Expert

The work

You will prepare Telugu language data used to train AI systems. The work includes transcription, annotation, review, and reporting language details or challenges.

You will work independently while communicating clearly with project stakeholders and meeting project milestones.

  • Transcribe Telugu audio, video, and text into accurate written content.
  • Annotate, segment, and label audio data using project guidelines.
  • Review and edit Telugu transcriptions for clarity, consistency, and correctness.
  • Add cultural and contextual insights, including regional language nuances.
  • Identify and report ambiguities or other challenges in Telugu transcription tasks.
  • Deliver accurate, timely work and communicate through written and verbal channels.

What it pays and takes

This is an entry-level contractor role, and prior AI experience is not required. Your Telugu language ability and transcription or annotation experience are central to the work.

  • Pay: $10 to $24 per hour equivalent, paid per task.
  • Time: 20+ hours per week.
  • Work arrangement: Remote, part-time contract work.
  • Location: Open to candidates in the listed countries.
  • Language: Professional fluency in Telugu, with strong written and spoken command.
  • Experience: Transcription, annotation, or linguistic data processing involving audio, video, or text.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, Telugu proofreading and editing, clear communication, and the ability to manage deliverables independently.
  • Helpful background: Familiarity with linguistic annotation tools or transcription platforms.
