Finance Executive — Chennai

Vibedu handles student fees, university payments and partner settlements across five offices. This role keeps that accurate. It suits someone who has done two or three years of real accounting work and wants ownership of a function rather than one narrow task inside a large finance team.

What you’ll do

  • Maintain day-to-day accounts, vouchers and ledgers in Tally or an equivalent system.
  • Coordinate student fee receipts and invoicing, and keep each student's position clear.
  • Handle receivables, payables and vendor coordination.
  • Document branch-level expenses so each office's spend stands up to review.
  • Prepare GST and TDS workings and support filing within deadlines.
  • Reconcile bank statements, petty cash and partner settlements.
  • Produce monthly reports — collections, expenses, branch-wise summaries — that management can act on.
  • Support audits, and keep records in order before anyone asks for them.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience. This one is not open to freshers.
  • B.Com, M.Com, or CA / CMA Inter.
  • Working knowledge of Tally, GST and TDS.
  • Strong Excel — a finance executive who cannot build a reconciliation sheet will struggle here.
  • Comfortable with a CRM or ERP for fee and invoice records.
  • Accurate and discreet. You will see student and family financial information, and it stays confidential.

What Vibedu offers

  • Attractive salary — A salary we are happy to discuss openly at interview.
  • Insurance for your family — Insurance cover that extends to your family, not only to you.
  • Provident Fund — PF, as a permanent employee of Vibedu.
  • Incentives — Incentives alongside your fixed salary.
  • Allowances from the 3rd year — Special allowances once you reach your third year with us.
