Role Description The Platform Engineer / SRE / DevOps / Cloud Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and cloud platforms that support production applications.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, improving reliability, and automating deployments and operational tasks. The engineer will collaborate with software development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhance application observability, and ensure robust security and compliance practices. The position also includes capacity planning, documentation of infrastructure changes, and participation in on-call rotations to support high availability.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve infrastructure, application, and performance issues efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess software development and programming skills for building tools, automation scripts, and integrations that improve platform reliability.
  • Candidates should possess infrastructure skills, including experience with servers, networking, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Candidates should possess database skills, including working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, optimizing queries, and managing backups and performance.
  • Candidates should have experience with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Linux-based systems, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), and monitoring/alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and a structured approach to documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
